We are pleased to announce that Jason Jones, filmmaker, philanthropist and producer of the critically acclaimed film, Bella, will be the featured speaker at this year's Focus on Life

One of the most innovative and effective ways to share this message is through art and culture. Movies and film hold an incredible power to change hearts and minds. Watch this inspiring clip about the power and influence that the film, Bella, has had:

There is a lot of noise and confusion around what is known as "end of life issues". Simply speaking, end of life issues merely refers to decisions made by a patient and their family about what kind of treatments to accept or decline that effect their death.

There are important public policy debates surrounding us today, concerning euthanasia and assisted suicide as options for dealing with end of life. The outcome of this public debate has the power to profoundly affect family relationships, interactions between doctors and patients, insurance issues, and concepts of basic ethical behaviour.

We Need Your Help!

Signal Hill strives to deliver vital information and engage people through many different mediums. One medium that is at the forefront of our society is Facebook. Through Facebook, we can inform our followers about news, events and contests. We can also engage them in discussions or invite them to participate in polls that will help in our educational work.

But this vital information only reaches as far as the number of people that follow us. So if you want to help Signal Hill in making sure life affirming information reaches far and wide, we ask you to help broaden our scope of influence on Facebook. Our challenge to you is to suggest our page to at least 10 of your friends! (You'll have to "like" us first before you can suggest it to others!)
