Leader of the Month: Micheal Ayala

Michael Angelo Ayala is the newly elected president of UTA Volunteers, the official volunteer organization of UT Arlington. Michael is a sophomore communication major. He wanted to be a leader because he wanted to gain confidence and good communication skills through the method of self-discovery. Being in a prominent leadership position has helped him overcome his shyness. Apart from UTA Volunteers, Michael is a Maverick Wrangler and Treasurer of the French Club at UTA.
Micheal's favorite leadership quote  is "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing's going to get better. It's not." Dr. Seuss .

If you would like to nominate a leader or yourself to be the student leader of the month, please email their name and UTA email address to leadership@uta.edu .
