Film Screening: Culture of Silence: Stalking Awareness

The Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention (RVSP) program in partnership with the Professional Development Committee, within The Division of Student Affairs invites faculty and staff to a screening of the film, Culture of Silence: Stalking Awareness.  


This film offers a realistic exploration of the issue, uncovers the common misconceptions about stalking, and offers ways to respond to the crime.

After, Counseling Services, UTAPD and the RVSP Campus Advocate will host a panel discussion on how to respond and the best types of support for students who report being victims of stalking. Learn more about university procedures and the services and resources available to students.

Come out to audition or just to watch! Performance categories include song/vocal performance, spoken word, choreographed movement, and other special abilities. Sign up to audition at by 3/27 at 5 pm. Freshmen Leaders On Campus (FLOC) Presents the Moral Dilemmas of Spying

James Olson, professor of courses on intelligence and national security at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University will discuss the controversial practices of assassination, torture, and rendition.

The Big Event is UT Arlington's day of community service. Sign up now to become a site leader.

Applications are available until 5 pm Friday, March 9, on The Big Event website. Additionally, project sites are now viewable on the website. There are currently more than 40 project sites for volunteers to choose from. Volunteer registration opens Monday, March 19.
