Join us as we open the College Park Center with a party the likes of which UT Arlington has never seen. A basketball double-header will highlight the evening, as both the women's and men's squads play their first games on the University's new home court. In between basketball games, we'll hold a spectacular ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring video shows, entertainment, special effects, and more. Help us forge new traditions as we celebrate the Homecoming Weekend events in our shiny new home. Students will dance the night away Feb. 10 at The Bash, featuring a night-club theme inside the arena.
On Saturday afternoon, the community is invited to the Festival on the Plaza, a street fair party with live music, food, beverages, activities, a pep rally, and the all new Homecoming Parade (sign up to participate in the parade and other events at www.uta.edu/homecoming). Fans will be able to enjoy all of these activities anticipation of Saturday night's basketball game, when the Maverick men take on Texas State for honor, pride, and major conference bragging rights.
