Spring Re-registration
[MANDATORY FOR ALL GROUPS]
Deadline: February 1
All groups will need to log in to MavOrgs and click the 'Register this Organization' button under your listing in the Organizations Directory. The registration process will ask you for directory information (e-mail, websites, social media, phone, fax, etc) a profile photo, and organization interests that describe your organization. Please have on-hand at the time of registration officer information (name, email, MavID #) for at least 3 officers and Advisor information (name, email, campus box number, department) as that information will be requested. Keep in mind the person who completes this will be listed as the Primary Contact within the system. When you complete re-registration, please encourage your officers and members to log in to MavOrgs and join your organization to communicate with you, each other, and our office, and to stay up to speed on events on campus.
If you fail to re-register your organization by February 1, 2012, your organization will be placed on temporary inactive status. |

Promote your organization to thousands of students at this event on Wednesday, January 25, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Tables will be available day of, for those that sign up, on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 8 a.m. Sign up online on the MavOrgs homepage. |

Complete this quick end-of-the-year survey about your experience and communication with Student Governance & Organizations. Your feedback is important to us as our staff strives to improve your student organization and your campus involvement experience. This survey should only take about 5 minutes of your time and your answers will be completely anonymous. Also, by filling out the survey, you will be entered into a drawing for up to $100 of free pizza for your organization's next meeting or event. Please complete no later than Wednesday, January 25. Do you enjoy helping others? Love to share your Maverick spirit? Want to improve your leadership skills? Apply to be a 2012 Maverick Orientation Leader! Maverick Orientation Leaders are the first to welcome new students and parents during the summer orientation program in June, July and August. Mav OLs develop valuable leadership skills including public speaking, conflict management, teamwork, and problem solving. Show Your Pride in the 2012 Homecoming Parade!
Deadline: February 1
Sign ups are now open for organizations to participate in the Homecoming Parade on Saturday, February 11 at 5:20 p.m. This year's Homecoming parade will be bigger and better than ever and we want your group or organization to be a part of it! The Homecoming committee will have a variety of golf carts for you to decorate and use and also signage for you to decorate if your group would like to walk in the parade. All student, faculty and staff groups are welcome.

Can You Handle the Heat?
Registration Deadline: February 3
Join the Homecoming crew and The Division of Student Affairs for our annual chili cook-off-bracket bowl style that will take place on Friday, February 10 from noon- 1 p.m. on the UC Mall. Teams will compete within their assigned divisions to win the ultimate prize of HCBB champion, bragging rights, and an awesome trophy. All student, faculty, and staff groups are invited to participate.

Want to celebrate UT Arlington Day? Want to show off your spirit? Want to win $250? Then enter the Show Your Maverick Pride photo contest! All you have to do is dress yourself, your neighbors, your kids, your pets, your house, your place of business, your car, or anything else in your best blue, orange and white Maverick gear, take a picture, then e-mail the photo to the Alumni Association. Program Assistance Funds are University-granted monies supplied every year to provide campus organizations supplemental funding for their events and attendance to conferences. Student Congress oversees the distribution of these monies, and applications are available in the Student Congress office in the lower level UC, B150, or online at www.uta.edu/sc. |

Each fall and spring, 32 undergraduate students from the UT System are selected to participate in the Archer Fellowship Program-a challenging and rewarding internship and academic experience in Washington, D.C. Student Congress, in conjunction with Paint the Town Blue, is hosting UT Arlington Night at DSW. The DSW shoe store at The Parks Mall in Arlington will be offering 20% off all regular-priced items and 10% off all clearance items in the store to UT Arlington faculty/staff/students/alumni.
