NOW OPEN: Spring Activities Fair Day Sign Ups
Deadline: January 23
Don't let your students miss out on the opportunity to promote your organization at this event on Wednesday, January 25 from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the E.H. Hereford University Center Palo Duro Lounge. Tables will be available day of, for those that sign up, on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 8 a.m.
To sign up for Activity Fair Day, someone from your organization must complete the following:
- Visit the signup page https://mavorgs.collegiatelink.net/form/start/3542
- You will be asked to log in. Log in requires your NetID and password (just like you're logging in to your UT Arlington e-mail).
- Complete the each section and click "Submit for Approval."
- Our office will review and approve your request as they come in. If any questions arise we will respond back to you.

NOW OPEN: Spring Re-Registration
Deadline: February 1
All student organizations are required to re-register each semester with the Office of Student Governance & Organizations. The process should be completed by your President and or one of your other officers online via MavOrgs. (Keep in mind the person who completes this will be listed as the Primary Contact within the system.) Spring 2012 re-registration is open now through February 1. If re-registration is not completed by February 1, 2012, your organization will be placed on temporary inactive status. |
Show Your Pride in the 2012 Homecoming Parade!
Deadline: February 1
Sign ups are now open for organizations to participate in the Homecoming Parade on Saturday, February 11 at 5:20 p.m. This year's Homecoming parade will be bigger and better than ever and we want your group or organization to be a part of it! The Homecoming committee will have a variety of golf carts for you to decorate and use and also signage for you to decorate if your group would like to walk in the parade. All student, faculty and staff groups are welcome.

Is your student organization looking for money? Program Assistance Funds are University-granted monies supplied every year to provide campus organizations supplemental funding for their events and attendance to conferences. Student Congress oversees the distribution of these monies, and applications are available in our offices in the lower level UC, B150, or online at www.uta.edu/sc. |

2012 Maverick Orientation Leaders Deadline: January 30
Student organizations have some of the most talented leaders on campus. Encourage your students to apply to be a 2012 Maverick Orientation Leader! Maverick Orientation Leaders are the first to welcome new students and parents during the summer orientation program in June, July and August. Mav OLs develop valuable leadership skills including public speaking, conflict management, teamwork, and problem solving. Leadership Coaches

The Leadership Center invites you to share your knowledge and skills to enhance the development of student organizations here at UT Arlington. Leadership Coaches are faculty and staff partnering with the Leadership Center that have a passion for leadership and student development. Different roles of a Leadership Coach vary from a facilitator or presenter on a broad range of leadership topics, student leader mentor, scholarship committee member, and a resource for students and student organizations.
