A Message from SGO

Bundle Up with Maverick Spirit

The cool autumn weather brings cool opportunities to campus.  Just around the corner is an abundance of events in which your organization is invited to participate, including the Most Awesome Extreme Challenge and Deck the Mall.

Also, the Division of Student Affairs invites you to wear your blue and orange and sport your school spirit around campus, especially on "Spirit Fridays."  The UT Arlington Ambassadors have two upcoming opportunities for you to demonstrate your Maverick pride to win prizes and T-shirts: MavSwap and Maverick Monday.

Stay warm, Mavericks, and have a great week!

Award, Ribbon

William Nutt, president of the Anthropology Club and UT Arlington graduate student, helped unearth rare images of Western art.  The scene was discovered at an Etruscan site in Italy on a small fragment from a ceramic vessel that is more than 2,600 years old.  Cick here for more information about his discovery.

Tell us your accomplishments!  Has your student organization recently won an award?  Has one of your members been recognized for something amazing?  Student Governance & Organizations wants to know!  E-mail and your entry could be featured in the next The MavOrgs Leader.
