October is a really great month at BILL'S. By now we've finally removed all signs of summer and filled up the store with new merchandise from top to bottom. Gone are the shorts and sandals, in their place are flannel shirts, polar fleece products of every type, outerwear, and thermal underwear. Kayaks have given way to winter jackets, ski apparel and accessories, gloves, and snowsport offerings.

 

Add into that mix a slowly growing expectation for end of month fun with Halloween popping up, one can see why we look forward to this month every year. Its one of the best times to shop our store, as the season's selections are never better, and there are usually plenty of unique items about the sales floor to make you think about how you could use them for Halloween.

 

Our sales on military items are at their annual peak this month, and we won't disappoint with some of the highest inventory levels in the store in this category for all the trick or treat'ers who need to be Rambo. We sell more doctors scrubs this month than any other time of year, I guess a lot of people like to play doctor ( ahem). We outfit a lot of "farmers" with coveralls, and plenty of "cops" with handcuffs and uniforms. Picture the Village People band from the 70's, their wardrobe could have been right out of our store.
