We are back this month with some news about our remodeling. Now that it is finally complete, you will notice a big difference in the gear section of our store. Many new items are on the way to fill the new space; an expanded knife selection (probably twice as many as we've ever carried) new water bottle brands, an expanded Nalgene selection, more kayaks... I could go one and on. Stop by and see for yourself!

UV Protection
After a long winter, the spring and summer always gets us out of our homes and into the great outdoors. CUSHE
 CUSHE (pronounced CUSH-Y) is one of our most exciting new footwear brands to hit our store in years. You may think Vibram Five Fingers held that mantle, but truthfully we've been selling those for 3 years already. This spring we added this exciting new brand - in fact it's in our stores right now.
Cushe was started in 2004 when a group of designers got together to make the type of footwear they wanted, not what some large corporation demanded. This footwear can best be described as "Urban Safari". Think Merrell with a much more metropolitan twist. Independent and Individualistic, these shoes are made with many cool features. The designers concentrate on incorporating innovative details to make the footwear distinctive.
They are the new baby line of Wolverine World Wide, the same folks who saw so much opportunity with Merrell years ago, and bring with them all the manufacturing capabilities that exist today, to help turn out great product.
