August News & Events
Women Swimmin' is this Month!

The 9th Annual Women Swimmin' for Hospicare is coming up on Saturday the 18th. Over $175,000 has already been raised, putting us well over halfway towards our goal of $290,000!

Are you a boater, or do you know someone who is? We're still looking for boaters to escort swimmers safely across the lake. Please visit www.womenswimmin.org by August 12 to register.

Looking for other ways to get involved? We still need volunteers to help on land. Visit www.womenswimmin.org to learn how you can help, or to sign up.

And don't forget Puddledockers once again generously donated a kayak we'll be raffling off the day of the swim! Purchase tickets for $5 each (or 5 for $20) at Puddledockers, at the Nina K. Miller Hospicare Center, or online.

Support a swimmer! Visit www.womenswimmin.org to donate to a swimmer or team, or to make a general donation to Hospicare.

Many thanks to Ithaca's Fraternal Order of Eagles #1253 for their very generous donation which made this possible!

Books are available for self-checkout. Call us for more information.
