AFC Race
Think your city is America's finest? Give San Diego a run for their money with a virtual race on your own page.
Or donate here and just watch the fun.
Team Clearity is running all over America to provide support for our sisters, mothers and friends with ovarian cancer. The Clearity Foundation is improving the care of this challenging cancer by providing comprehensive molecular profiling to all patients, no matter where she is treated, and regardless of whether she can pay. Profile by profile, data point by data point, our vision is to transform treatment by providing physicians with more and better data to make the best treatment choice for their patients and outrun this disease.
Join us on August 15, 2010! Whether you're training for a half-marathon in San Diego, running your own virtual race, or just sipping an iced tea, please support us. Your contribution will go a long way to helping women with ovarian cancer. Please contact mbernabe@clearityfoundation.org for more information or if you need help getting signed up! |
| Scientific Update |
Clearity presents data at American Association for Cancer Research annual meeting
Scientific director Dr. Deb Zajchowski and founder Dr. Laura Shawver presented Clearity Foundations work at the AACR on April 14, 2010. We are among the first to bring molecular profiling to cancer patients, the only foundation providing these services regardless of the patient's ability to pay and the only group focused on ovarian cancer! The poster, SELECTING PATIENTS for OVARIAN CANCER CLINICAL TRIALS by PROFILING TUMORS against a BROAD PANEL of MOLECULAR MARKERS, was a summary of the work completed in 2009. Click here to view the poster.
DOD Grant
The Clearity Foundation is the first to bring molecular profiling to ovarian cancer patients. As new scientific discoveries are made, we will bring new tests to our patients. We are pleased to be a part of a Department of Defense grant awarded to our scientific advisors, Drs. Doug Levine and Beth Karlan. The grant, Toward Personalized Ovarian Cancer Therapy through The Cancer Genome Atlas, will keep Clearity blueprints at the cutting edge for our patients. |
