BRIDGE BULLETIN: Holiday Edition

News for Friends of The Bridge Teen Center

December 2010
Greetings!

From the staff and Board of Directors of The Bridge Teen Center, we wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season.  We are excited about what 2011 holds for The Bridge, and we look forward to getting each of you involved in the New Year!

Individuals, foundations, and local businesses form the very foundation of The Bridge Teen Center.  This holiday season, we give thanks for every member of The Bridge's family of supporters.  Simply stated, we would not be able to fulfill our mission without your support.

As we enter the holiday season and a new year, we would like to challenge each of you to stretch, make a sacrifice, and lend a hand in support of teens and families in our community.  There are many ways you can get involved, but here are a few ideas:
  1. Instead of an ugly necktie or fruit cake, ask friends to donate to The Bridge.
  2. Make a year-end contribution in whatever amount you are able.  Whether it's $5 or $5,000, every dollar stays local and supports teens and families in your community.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
  3. Volunteer your time - and ask a friend to volunteer with you.  As we enter a new semester of programming, volunteers are needed in a number of areas.  For more information, contact Amy McGrew at amy@thebridgeteencenter.org or 708.532.0500.
  4. Share The Bridge at work, at church, and with your friends.
  5. Make a monthly commitment for 2011 in whatever amount you are able.  Safe and secure ACH donations can be set up in any amount.  Your monthly support provides a much-needed monthly revenue stream that covers the costs associated with the free programs we provide.  For info, contact Rob Steinmetz at rob@thebridgeteencenter.org or 708.532.0500.

Welcome New Board Members

The Bridge Teen Center would like to welcome our two newest members of the Board of Directors, Dr. Joe Brannigan and John Calzaretta.  Dr. Brannigan owns and operates Brannigan Chiropractic Center in Orland Park, located at 1400 Ravinia Place (behind Borders).  John Calzaretta is the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales for InnerWorkings, a managed print and promotional solutions company in Chicago.  We are honored to have both John and Dr. Joe involved on The Bridge's leadership team.
