Minimizing the effects of summer heat on egg-laying flocks
House temperatures above 95° F result in physiologic changes in egg laying hens, reducing reproductive performance. Above 95° F, hens do not have the ability to maintain their normal body temperatures. Needless to say, the situation is very dangerous. Even temperatures as low as 82°F
