When someone thinks of major investment in a business over time, one might think of capital improvements, new facilities and equipment, or acquiring new companies. Certainly, we have experienced that at Diamond V. We've recently completed additional new facilities, purchased new equipment and are adding staff. Yet, the leading investment made over the long-term is in our science and research. 

 

Since Diamond V began in 1943, we have invested heavily in more than 379 controlled research studies (93 peer-reviewed published journal articles) carried out by university and third-party research enterprises.  And it doesn't stop there. The vast base of Diamond V personnel are scientific professionals with advanced degrees.  We put a high value on attracting technical talent throughout our organization, not just in R&D. We also invest heavily in scientific forums and events where animal nutrition leaders gather to learn. We do this through sponsorships, through our technical presentations and through our own attendance 

 

The sum total of our emphasis on science and technical talent is simple:  healthier animals and greater production results for producers over the long term.  For us, there is no better way to demonstrate value to the market.
