house is a temporary home away from home that serves and sustains
families of seriously ill and injured children receiving treatment in a
Dallas hospital, and we're thrilled to open the doors to our new house
to welcome families who yearn for a place to call home while going
through such a difficult time in their lives," said executive director Barbara McDermott.
The
house offers three meals a day, transportation to and from area
hospitals, recreational activities, holiday and birthday celebrations,
and professionally facilitated support groups.
