Last Month's Poll Results

So last month we asked what's your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?
Let's see how you voted:
Pumpkin pie pulled in 11% (Apparently you're not a traditional kind of crowd)
Pecan pie ruled with 56%
Gail's double fudge brownies scored a respectable 33%
Mincemeat pie garnered not a single vote, 0% (It's an acquired taste I guess.)
? Did You Know...

Advice from London businessman Thomas Smith in 1885.

Thomas Smith knew that repetition means recall and figured out that it takes twenty (20) times for an ad to result in a sale. We're not sure that this is an exact science but we do agree that a prospect needs repeated exposure to your message before they are motivated to buy.

Here is Mr. Smith's list:

1. The first time people look at any given ad, they don't even see it.
2. The second time, they don't notice it.
3. The third time, they are aware that it is there.
4. The fourth time, they have a fleeting sense that they've seen it somewhere else before.
5. The fifth time, they actually read the ad.
6. The sixth time, they thumb their nose at it.
7. The seventh time, they start to get a little irritated with it.
8. The eight time, they start to think "Here's that confounded ad again."
9. The ninth time, they start to wonder if they may be missing out on something.
10. The tenth time, they ask their friends and neighbors if they've tried it.

We go shopping for you!

We go shopping for you!

During the second week of January every year our industry holds its largest trade show. It's in Las Vegas ( I know, the sacrifices we make for our clients is inspiring!)

Called "The Expo," the show is put on by PPAI, (Promotional Products Association International), and is the first and biggest show of the year for our industry.

It typically features well over 2000 suppliers on two floors of the Mandalay Bay Exhibit Center.

A highlight of the show is the New Product Pavilion where suppliers showcase their newest products.

We'll be at the show looking for new and interesting items as well as for the new products from our favorite suppliers.

What's in it for you? Well, give us your shopping/wish list and we'll keep an eye out. We can order you samples right at the show and bring you just what you're looking for.

So think ahead for 2010. What shows or conferences will you be attending or hosting?

What internal events will need branded products?

Any new locations or new products/services?

Are you sponsoring a golf outing, charitable event like a run?

Any employees coming up for milestone events?
Give us your shopping list!

There are 3,000 suppliers of about 750,000 items. That's the haystack.
Call on us to use our creativity and resourcefulness to find your "needle."
