| Tour Innovation Middle School | | |
Article Subheading Holmes' parents have an open invitation to tour Innovation Middle School (better known as "iMiddle"). Principal Harlan Klein and Vice Principal Nicola Labas will conduct school and classroom visits one Friday each month. As you hopefully know, for 7th grade, Holmes' families have the dual option of attending either iMiddle or Marston Middle School. Holmes' students who attend Marston in 6th grade are expected by current District policy to remain there through 8th grade, unless an Enrollment Options (Choice) application is submitted and approved for 7th or 8th grade and cannot be guaranteed. We do, however, save a spot for all Holmes' incoming 7th graders for automatic enrollment at iMiddle and hope to attract you to our incredible technology embedded program, with the district's first 1:1 school to home laptop curriculum for all students.
Visits are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and are scheduled for:
Friday, April 13, 2012
Friday, May 11, 2012
Additionally, please consider joining us for the following events:
Annual Innovation Celebration and Student Showcase, May 16, 2012, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
iMiddle Orientation Night, May 22, 2012, 6:00-7:00 p.m. intended for all incoming 7th graders and their families
Welcome Back Social for 7th grade students and families, August 29, 2012, 5:00-7:00 p.m. The perfect time to get your supplies!
