This Friday Dec. 2 is Family Friday. Parents are invited to meet with Principal, Jonathan Saipe in the auditorium from 9:05-9:35am to get updates about district/school news, learn a simple yet effective reading strategy, and have an opportunity to share ideas on how to make Holmes even better. From 9:35-10:05am parents will be invited to visit classrooms to read with their child or participate in a learning activity.

It's time for the annual ink cartrid and cell phone contest. We're collecting more than used ink cartridges and cell phones ge this year. Send in your old cell phones, ink cartridges, laptops, ipods, digital cameras, laser cartridges, gps devices, video games/systems, dvd movies, and calculators. We're collecting it all!! Mark your items with your child's room number so the classroom will get credit for it.   

 

Contest Ends December 16th.

 

Winning class will receive a $50 check!

We will be holding tours for parents interested in Holmes on December 9th, January 10th and January 20th. Tours will begin with an orientation in the auditorium at 9:00 a.m., immediately followed with visits to the classrooms.
