By popular demand the heart design is now available for Ladies and Girls in Zip Hoodies.    All spirit wear, t-shirts and zip hoodies, orders are due in the office by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9th.  Be fashionable and support Holmes!  A win win!

Every Friday is spirit day at Holmes.  Wear your t-shirts, sweatshirts or hoodies, or dress in school colors and show your Holmes spirit.

 

Kindergarten and 1st Grade:  Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 1:30 p.m. 

4th, 5th and 6th Grades:  Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 2:30 p.m.

2nd and 3rd Grades: Thursday, Nov. 10th at 2:30 p.m.

 

All assemblies will be held in the auditorium.  Honorees are asked to donate refreshments (cookies, fruit, etc.) for the reception that follows each assembly.  Lemonade will be provided

Thank you to all the teachers, parents, family and friends who volunteered to make this year's Halloween Carnival the most successful one ever. Without all of your volunteer help, this event would never be as Spooktacular as it has become.
Also a big THANK YOU to those wonderful bakers who donated all those delicious goodies for our world-famous cakewalk. This year's donations were more than double the amount we have ever had donated.

It's time for the annual ink cartridge and cell phone contest.  We're collecting more than used ink cartridges and cell phones this year.  Send in your old cell phones, ink cartridges, laptops, ipods, digital cameras, laser cartridges, gps devices, video games/systems, dvd movies, and calculators.  We're collecting it all!!  Mark your items with your child's room number so the classroom will get credit for it. 

 

Winning class will receive a $50 check!

Come see CYT San Diego's production of "Aladdin." This is an amazing opportunity to expose your children to the arts and enjoy a fabulous show put on by talented students ages 8-18.  Several Holmes students are in the cast (Maddie Churchill and Isabella Machado). 

Dates/Times: Nov.11, 12. 18, 19 @7pm and Nov. 13 & 19 @ 2:00pm.
