Pumpkin for Halloween Article Subheading
It's time once again to start coordinating for the Holmes Annual Halloween Carnival.  This year's carnival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29th from 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

We need classroom game booth volunteers. Sign-up sheets are posted at each classroom. We need all parents to sign up for a 1-hour shift at their child's classroom game booth.  You can sign up at the classroom sign up sheet or return the bright orange sign-up form that came home with your child.

We also need Classroom game booth coordinators.  Duties include creating a master list of shifts, communicating to classroom parents about shift times, and early event arrival (10:30 a.m.) to show volunteers how to run the booth.

Please get in touch with Stacy Coulter, Halloween Carnival Chairperson if you are able to volunteer for this SPOOKTACULAR event or have any questions at kcrc@san.rr.com or 858-292-5222.

CHS has a brand new football stadium, and they are still remodeling the baseball, softball, and soccer fields as well.  Many families from the Clairemont community regularly attend and support these games and the Holmes community is invited.  The upcoming schedule is Friday 10/14/11 vs. University City at CHS.  JV plays at 3:30, and Varsity plays at 6:30.  This is also Homecoming, and that is always fun!!  They call it Friday Night Lights, and the full schedule is on their website.
