FUN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Want to be involved in your child's classroom? Do you love art? Do you have a couple hours a month to spare?

Consider volunteering for Arts Attack.

Arts Attack is a volunteer-run, video based program with complete instructions organized by grade level. It is an easy-to-teach art program designed to give our kids the opportunity to express themselves through art.

All materials are supplied for you.  A DVD along with a step-by-step guide is provided and thoroughly outlines each lesson.

Kids love the opportunity to be creative and parents, you'll love to see their one-of-a-kind art hanging on your walls!!!!

Without your support, there will be no Arts Attack. Julie Banthrum

eScrip is an important part of our fundraising program.  We ask that every family help us make the grade in our fundraising goal.  And the best part is it will only take a few minutes of your time.  Your grocery club card, your debit card, your credit card all earn the school money without any effort on your part, once they are registered.  If you have already registered, please go back online and RENEW current cards or add any new cards not registered.  REMEMBER TO ASK FRIENDS, FAMILY AND NEIGHBORS TO REGISTER TOO!

You can register online at  www.escrip.com

Campus Visitors
This week we are implementing a new volunteer check in system purchased by the PTA. Before going to a classroom, all volunteers and visitors need to check-in into a computer located on the office counter. Once checked in, a bright yellow label will print and should be displayed on your upper torso. The whole process takes about 15 seconds but it will help us monitor the campus, account for all visitors, and log volunteer hours. We are also very excited to begin a variety of afterschool enrichment programs. It is important to prepare your child for the correct day, time, and location.
