Cub scouts

Cub Scout Pack 299 would like to invite families of boys, 1st-5th grade, to join us for an evening of FUN at our Pack Meeting, this Thursday, Sept 22nd , at 6:30 PM in the Holmes Auditorium.

Cub Scouting is a year-round, family-oriented part of the Boy Scouts of America. Boys are introduced to fun and exciting new experiences that help them learn about our world, giving back to their community, and helping their family. Our goal is to build trust, respect, and strong bonds between boys and their parents.

Through fun activities with new friends, your son will learn:

  • Confidence
  • Personal Values
  • Goal Setting
  • Leadership
  • Citizenship

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday night. If you would like more information, contact Ted or Lyda Young at 858-277-5676.Cub scout for Holmes

Campus Visitors
This week we are implementing a new volunteer check in system purchased by the PTA. Before going to a classroom, all volunteers and visitors need to check-in into a computer located on the office counter. Once checked in, a bright yellow label will print and should be displayed on your upper torso. The whole process takes about 15 seconds but it will help us monitor the campus, account for all visitors, and log volunteer hours. We are also very excited to begin a variety of afterschool enrichment programs. It is important to prepare your child for the correct day, time, and location.
