Wow -- we went above and beyond our goal this year.  Thank you to our families, teachers, staff, and children for all your hard work.  Holmes truly is where the heart is!!

Variety Show Auditions, Apr. 18 & 19

Variety Show

 

Variety show auditions will be held during school on April 18th & 19th. You must be available for show on Friday, June 3rd. There will be a day performance for students and an evening show for parents. Acts can be no longer than 3 minutes.

RAFFLE BASKETS:

Spring Fling Raffle Baskets are coming!!! Grade level themes to be announced soon (info will be sent home). Donations will be accepted from Mon., Apr. 25th- Fri., May 6th. Contact your Grade Level Coordinator with questions, or Michelle Cruz, 858-715-0064. Raffle tickets will go on sale the week of May 9th.

 

VOLUNTEERS:

It takes a tremendous amount of volunteers to help us get our Spring Fling off the ground and several more to keep it running smoothly.  Please view our list of volunteer opportunities and email Jennifer if you have a few hours to spare on May 14th!  We'd really appreciate your help.

Mileage Club

Our Mileage Club students have run a total of 4,607 miles this year!  Thursday, May 26th will be our last day of Mileage Club and Tuesday, May 31st will be the last day to pick up your tokens.  Friends and family are encouraged to attend our Awards ceremony on Thursday, June 2nd in the lunch court.  Details will be out shortly.

Internet Safety Event, April 26th

Internet SafetyThe event will be at the newly renovated Marston Middle School Auditorium (3799 Clairemont Drive, San Diego, CA 92117), April 26th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The event is offered free of charge by the San Diego Police Department and is open to the public.  Marston will provide translation services and childcare.
