Our classroom competitions are heating up and we've already raised $6,270 between online donations and corporate sponsorships.  OUR KIDS ROCK!  All students will receive a t-shirt, water bottle and a goodie bag filled with gift certificates for free kids meals to Islands, over 1/2 off coupons for the Barnes Tennis Camp, Wheaties cereal and other great stuff. This is a FUN event and we hope parents can take half the day off to cheer on our kids!

Mailbox Procedures at Holmes Elementary

We are asking everyone for their help in following the proper procedures for mailbox distribution at Holmes Elementary.  All mail for distribution, whether it is for teachers and staff, or it is to be sent home to students, must be approved by Mrs. Cross before placing in teacher mailboxes. 

 

Please give your final draft of any materials to be distributed to Deborah Roberts, in our office, at least 1 full day before you would like to copy and distribute your material.  Ms. Roberts will get approval or make any necessary request for changes and have it in the office for pick up 24 hours after your materials have been submitted.  ALL materials must be approved prior to distribution, no exceptions.

 

If you have personal or classroom specific invitations etc., please contact your teacher directly for further instructions.

Please check the lost and found for clothing, lunchbox, hair bobs, hats, etc. All items NEED to be claimed by 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 1st.  Anything not claimed will be donated.

Internet Safety Event, April 26th

Internet SafetyThe event will be at the newly renovated Marston Middle School Auditorium (3799 Clairemont Drive, San Diego, CA 92117), April 26th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The event is offered free of charge by the San Diego Police Department and is open to the public.  Marston will provide translation services and childcare.
