Make a Difference. We need YOU for the 2011-12 Holmes PTA Board. Executive board positions are elected annually. All PTA members in good standing are eligible to apply.
Interest forms were sent out last week and need to be returned by today in your child's folder or to the office. Additionally, you may submit your interested postion(s) by email to the Nominating Committee Chair, Andrea Camporesi.

 Our Annual Jog-A-Thon will be held on
Friday, April 1, 2011
This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the day! Our goal is to raise over $20,000! These much needed funds will go towards educational enrichment and physical education equipment. Please get involved: sponsor a child; donate your time; get your business involved and corporate connections going!

Standley Middle School will host  Documentary
The public is invited to view a new and widely discussed documentary, "Race to Nowhere," on Wed., March 23rd, at Standley Middle School, located at 6298 Radcliffe Drive. Come see the thought-provoking film that has been featured on Good Morning America and throughout the U.S.

| Girl Scout Troop 3294 needs our help! | | |
HEARTS OF SILVER
We are working on our Girl Scout Silver Award by collecting new or used blankets, jackets, coats, and any other clothing items to donate to the homeless and needy families of San Diego.
You can bring your donations to the East Clairemont Athletic Field (3491 Mount Acadia Blvd. San Diego, CA, 92111 ) on Sunday, March 27, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

more excited about science and engineering! One full week every March, the festival gives San Diego students a chance to have FUN hands-on experiences with real scientists and engineers that are making amazing discoveries to better the world around us.
