Have you heard the latest BZZZZZ?
It's time for the 2011 Spelling Bee!
Grades 1-6 are participating this year so "BEE" ready to compete in your classroom spelling bee. The classroom bee(s) may "BEE" held by February 17th (depending on your classroom teacher).
The final competitions will take place on February 28th and March 3rd. Awards are provided by Holmes PTA.

| Nominating Committee | |

At the beginning of each year, the Holmes PTA membership needs to elect a Nominating Committee. The purpose of the nominating committee is to select the best-qualified people to fill the elected PTA Board positions.
The Nominating Committee will be elected at the February 24, 2011 PTA meeting. Three (3) members and two (2) alternates make up the committee and no member can serve for two consecutive years. All candidates must be PTA members.
Once the committee is established, it contacts potential nominees and presents the candidates to the membership prior to the annual election in the spring.
