Spring Fling/Silent Auction Volunteers!

Spring Fling

Our Annual Spring Fling is May 14th and we have already started planning.  This event is our largest community event of the year!

Help us prepare for this wonderful event by volunteering your time:

Cake Show Coordinator (3rd annual cake show) - this person could be a Holmes parent, grandparent or friend of Holmes Elementary. Contact Jennifer Lonack

Silent Auction Volunteers - we need help with

procurement of auction items.  This would be a great opportunity for our working parents (as little as a couple of hours).  Contact Hollie Karl.

Holmes PTA

Nominating CmteAt the beginning Nominating Cmteof each year, the Holmes PTA membership needs to elect a Nominating Committee.  The purpose of the nominating committee is to select the best-qualified people to fill the elected PTA Board positions.

The nominating committee is elected at the next PTA association meeting in February 2011.  Three (3) members and two (2) alternates make up the committee and no member can serve for two consecutive years.  All candidates must be PTA members.

Once the committee is established, it contacts potential nominees and presents the candidates to the membership prior to the annual election in the spring.

You can have a tremendous influence on the future of our PTA as a member of this committee!  If interested, please contact the PTA Parliamentarian, Leigh Connor-Moyers at leigh.connor-moyers@holmespta.org
