I can't thank you enough....

I just want to thank you for the cards, gifts and expressions of sympathy in the recent passing of my Mom.  Very long story, but for those of you who do not know that my Mom was significantly injured (I think she was dropped) in a nursing facility and passed away within a week after the accident.  Thank you, thank you for your expressions of love to my family. It really has touched my heart.

The Missing Ingredient???

I find in my practice that nearly everyone needs more magnesium.  My preference is a triple magnesium/calcium complex and we muscle test to find the proper amount.  Some individuals need 400 mg - some may need over 1,000 mg per day.  If you are taking more than you can absorb at any given time, your bowels will let you know.  Take magnesium, along with calcium and at a completely separate time than you are taking other supplements (one exception would be if magnesium is in a sleep aid complex).

 

 Triple magnesium, along with triple calcium is a great PH balancer.  I personally take 4 of the Triple Magnesium/Calcium Complex that we carry and I have had many benefits from doing so.

  1. Magnesium may reverse osteoporosis

 

Multiple research studies conducted have suggested that calcium supplemented with magnesium improves bone mineral density.   Magnesium deficiency alters calcium metabolism and the hormones that regulate calcium, resulting in osteoporosis.   Intake of recommended levels of triple magnesium is important because it averts osteoporosis.

Studies show that individuals with a magnesium deficiency have a risk of developing type-2 diabetes and severe diabetic retinopathy.   Triple magnesium aids in carbohydrate metabolism and influences the release and activity of insulin, thereby controlling blood glucose levels.   It has been proven that for every 100 milligrams of increase in magnesium daily intake, there was a 15 percent decrease in the risk of developing type-2 diabetes.

6.  Magnesium used with heart attack victims

 

IV magnesium, when given as soon as possible after a heart attack, decreases death rate, says Julian Whitaker, MD.  In a British study, 2,000 heart attack victims had either IV magnesium or a saline solution within 24 hours of a heart attack.  Patients who got the magnesium had 24% fewer deaths.  Continuing those patients on magnesium, 5 years later showed a lower death rate of 21%.
