God is the author of life - here on Earth and eternal life - Satan is the author of death.

I personally feel like I made a stupid decision one time - my son fell on a rusty rake at my neighbor's house and the rake went through his palm.  After being pressured from a hospital that my son needed a DPT shot -- I am not exaggerating here -- he nearly died from pertussis (whooping cough) and passed it on to my youngest daughter who nearly died as well.  My son would cough so badly that his face would turn blue and this went on for 3 months.  He had to chronically have a cough drop in his mouth - he would cough sometimes for a minute straight and didn't have time to catch his breath.  He could not even walk up a hill in our back yard without going into these coughing spells in which there were long periods of time that he couldn't even get a breath into his lungs.  My daughter would cough so badly that her eyes would roll back in her head until she would nearly pass out.  I am NOT exaggerating here!!  When I went back to the medical doctors (even one that is highly regarded and I consider more open minded than most medical doctors & works out of the Children's Institue), they made me feel like I was "crazy" -- that there was no way that my children got sick like that from a shot.  The whooping cough symptoms came on within 24 hours of the shot.

A wise person learns from his own mistakes -- a REALLY wise person learns from the mistakes of others.  The wisest people of course, ask for wisdom from God and the Bible says that God will provide wisdom to those that ask-- look it up for yourself --James, chapter 1 and verse 5.

I may not be able to convince you

not

to vaccinate your children, but I can encourage you to make an educated decision -- this is wise.  I can ask you to pass this information on to others that you care about so that they can make an educated decision.  I know, of course, as a Naturopathic Doctor this is obviously my soapbox.  I may repeat myself in some of these newsletters, but repetition is definitely the key to learning.  Are you going to listen to a medical society who admits that 140,000 people

every

year are dying from medicines and medical procedures (Journal of Amercian Medical Assocation report) OR are you at least going to be open-minded enough to love your children enough to at least make an educated decision.  They at least deserve that!!!

Okay, 2nd soapbox - open your Bibles as well and make sure that you are being taught the truth of the scriptures in the pulpits of your churches - this deals with eternal life.
