Greetings!

As we zigzag our way toward summer, nature reminds us that every year, every season, every day and every moment is unique. We are always in transition, and yoga can help us keep our balance as we meet each moment with our unique talents and needs.
Join us at the St. Paul Yoga Center as we transition from spring into summer. The warmer weather can draw us outwards, and yoga can help to balance and complement our activities.
We encourage you to try several different classes to find the one that best fits your needs. If you have questions or concerns, please talk to our teachers. They are here to guide you.
Have fun exploring our newsletter. "Reflections," a regular column, features the impressions and experiences of our students. This issue also includes a new installment of Paul's Postulations with Granting Immunity Part III.
We look forward to working with you in class, and we wish you an invigorating and energizing spring and summer.
Namaste,
Paul & Anna

Reflections
SPYC Student Column
A Yoga Story by Kathleen Laughlin
I did sun salutations in the hallway (no sun in sight) of a Minneapolis public high school - a community-ed class in 1976. On my part, there was no long-term sight and certainly no insight. My next yoga classes started in 2010 at the age of 64. A new class came to light in my email list one day, offered by someone I had already met, Anna Vazquez. Something in me said "I am ready".

The medical establishment had convinced me, via scans, scores and statistics, that an invisible osteoporosis takeover was happening inside me. The rounded back of my mother appeared on me gradually or maybe it was my noticing that was slow - how often do you swish past a mirror, anyway?! Standing, the whole top half of my frame seemed like dead weight, and lying on a hard floor was something every piece of my back rejected.
