Back to School with VividBoards for College Dorms

The typical college dorm room door features some sort of dry-erase board for students to write notes to each other.  Most are furnished by the students and likely do not reflect the standards of the University.  Recently, we've been asked by several universities to design door signs as well as hallway message boards.  The time is now to present the idea to your schools before the start of school.

Here's the idea:
Dorm room door:  11" x 14" unframed VividBoard - custom designed for each school - purchased and installed by the school for each dorm room door.

Bethel college

Dorm hallway:  2' x 3' (or 3' x 4') combination VividBoard - half bulletin board and half dry-erase board - coordinating with the look of the dorm room door boards.  Post important notices and events on one side, and write timely messages on the dry-erase side.

3-Door Enclosed VividBoard

Check out one of our latest projects -- Staff communication board for a large children's hospital system in Florida.  Combining Ghent's 3-door enclosed unit with a VividBoard was the perfect solution.  Information can be updated, and then protected from unwanted changes or unintended erasures.

Remember, plain whiteboards may be substituted for VividBoards in many of the products featured on the Ghent Manufacturing website, www.ghent.com.

New evidence supports use of Marker Bungee

A new survey published by the Journal of Hospital Medicine indicates the #1 barrier to nurses using patient room whiteboards is....  (drum roll please) ... the availability of a marker.  It's just one more reason to include the Marker Bungee with all your VividBoard sales.  Keep markers readily available without the need for a marker tray.
