TCF Request for Proposals

TCFlogoThe Turtle Conservation Fund (TCF) has released its latest request for proposals, which can be downloaded by clicking here.

TCF awards are granted to organizations or individuals for specific conservation or research projects dealing with tortoises or freshwater turtles, but not marine turtles, with either partial or full support as funding allows.

Awards at the present time are approximately in the $2000 to $5000 range per project, with occasional funding up to $10,000. Proposals are due on November 1. The TSA is a founding partner of the TCF.

The second is a nice story from NPR about reducing wood turtle mortality on railroad tracks in New York. Click here to access the video.
