FY2010 Executive Budget Recommendation and Public Hearings

President Stroger presented his proposed FY2010 budget at yesterday's special meeting of the County Finance Committee. The
Executive Budget Recommendation is available online on the Department of Budget and Management Services' website.
The tentative date for budget adoption is November 19th. Over the next few weeks there will be a series of public hearings--anyone is welcome to testify at these meetings. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the public hearings, as I
committed to a meeting with the National Association of Counties over 4
months ago. I will look over the transcripts from these
meetings, but if you should need any immediate assistance, a member of
my staff will be in attendance at both public hearings.
The dates and locations are as follows:
Thursday, October 29 6:30 P.M. at the Skokie Courthouse - Rm 201
Friday, October 30 10:30 A.M. at the County
Board Room - 118 N Clark St, Rm 569
