Cook County Health System Town Hall Meeting
|
The Cook County Health and Hospitals System (CCHHS) is holding a series of town hall meetings this month to gather input from the community about future plans for the health system. These meetings will help in the development of a 3 to 5 year strategic plan due to be released in November.
The CCHHS Board is looking not only to assess the current state of the system, but also to create a vision of what it should
be and what services it should provide. More than 100 people attended one of the first of six scheduled hearings to talk about issues ranging from dental care to nurse input on hospital decisions--read more here.
The next town hall meeting is 6 p.m. Thursday, August 13th at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines (1600 E. Golf Rd.).
This is your opportunity to share your thoughts and opinions and help shape the future of the Cook County Health and Hospitals System.
