Ryan Zimmerman's "A Night at the Park" will be held August 9 and feature special performances from world-renowned magician David Blaine and recording artists Amos Lee and Mutlu. Please join Ryan as he launches the ziMS Foundation in the D.C. area and raises funds for a cure and awareness of multiple sclerosis. Celebrities from the sports, entertainment and political worlds will converge as Nats Park is transformed into an intimate concert hall for 1,000 people. Tickets are on sale now.

Can you swim, bike and run all in the same day? If the answer is no, you can still be a part of the action. The Nation's Triathlon needs volunteers to make the event weekend and race day a success. Whether you want to give back to the community or cheer on friends, volunteering is a great way to get involved.

RFK Stadium
There's lots in store for D.C. United fans this month. The black and red host home games against FC Dallas (August 14) and Philadelphia Union (August 22) as well as the FIFA 2010 Xbox Challenge in RFK Stadium's VW Lounge on August 21. Sixty-four (64) gamers will compete against D.C. United players for the chance to win up to $1,000 in cash prizes. Xbox Challenge registration is available at www.dcunited.com at $40 per entrant. Registration includes admission into United's match against Philadelphia the following day.

Washington Redskins open NFL preseason August 13
Redskins training camp is underway and free open practices continue on select dates thru August 19. Fan Appreciation Day is August 7 and the 49th annual Welcome Home Luncheon is slated for August 20. The 'Skins open the 2010 preseason at FedEx Field with games against the Buffalo Bills (August 13) and the Baltimore Ravens (August 21) before taking their show on the road for two preseason games.
Washington opens the 2010 regular season in a nationally-televised contest against NFC rivals Dallas Cowboys on September 2 at FedEx Field. Kickoff is 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
