Since calling RFK Stadium home the last 18 years, the Stone Soul Picnic has evolved into one of the District's premier summer music celebrations. Residents and visitors of all ages can enjoy a FREE family-friendly event featuring hours of live performances and festivities including games, food vendors, children's activities, product sampling and more. This year's performance lineup includes Heavy D, Mary Mary, Ginuwine, Ruben Studdard, Chico Debarge and Chuck Brown, among others.

Grab the grill and all the fixin's for a great tailgate and head over to RFK Stadium and watch as D.C. United takes on David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy. This match is the only time these two teams will meet on United's home field this season. Their first meeting this year, United's season opener, ended in a 2-2 tie in L.A.

Join thousands of riders and bike enthusiasts for this year's HIV/AIDS charity motorcycle ride hosted by radio personality Big Tigger, in partnership with WPGC Radio and the Street Corner Foundation. Ride For Life is a fundraising and awareness campaign benefiting HIV/AIDS. Registration and staging begins at RFK Stadium at 8 a.m. and the ride kicks off at 12 p.m., ending with a grand finale and cookout at Six Flags America Theme Park in Upper Marlboro, Md.

The EagleBank Bowl is back for a second year in the nation's capital and you, your family and friends can be part of the gridiron action this holiday season. The 2009 edition of the Bowl will feature the eighth selection from the Atlantic Coast Conference against Army or a team from Conference USA. In the inaugural game last year, Wake Forest scored 15 fourth quarter points to defeat Navy, 29-19.
