Jazz in the 'Hoods

The DCSEC and the Duke Ellington Jazz Festival (DEJF) have teamed together to host Jazz in the 'Hoods presented by the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission, a series of nearly 80 jazz performances and showcases spread out over 10 days and 33 venues within the District. Jazz in the 'Hoods brings the excitement and atmosphere of larger festival activities to the more intimate atmosphere of favorite neighborhood establishments. This year's DEJF celebrates New Orleans and runs June 5-15.

Hoop It Up
Hoop It Up, the largest 3on3 basketball tournament in the world, returns to
Washington, D.C. when the two-day tournament heads to the RFK Stadium festival grounds this summer. The tournament will feature teams of all ages and skill levels competing in a family-friendly, festival-style atmosphere. Deadline to register is June 22.

Witness the action as host Tiger Woods brings golf's finest stars together to compete in the third annual AT&T National. For the second straight year, the DCSEC will provide tickets to District youth, giving area youth an opportunity to be exposed to the game of golf and experience one of the nation's historic golf courses.
