Local Students Paint Mural for Therapy Room
Mural photo
First and second grade students at the Marstons Mills Horace Mann Charter School painted murals to help decorate a Therapy Room at Family Continuity's Hyannis Office.  Students worked under the direction of Cape artist Cris Reveredy and volunteer Joyce Filiault.

The artwork will add a calming effect to the room where therapists work with children.  We are grateful for the beautiful work that the students created and for the time and effort of Cris Reveredy and Joyce Filiault.  Family Continuity would also like to thank Hubbard Paint and Wallpaper of Hyannis for the paint for the walls to really bring out the murals.
We are moving to Peabody!

With tremendous growth over the last several years, Family Continuity is excited to be moving its Rantoul Street, Beverly, Home Based Services into a new facility in Peabody on April 6th.  Our new location will be 9 Centennial Drive, Peabody.  There will be easy access via MBTA Bus 436 and for those driving, just off Route 128, Exit 28.

We are in need of furniture for our waiting room and conference room.  We are looking for both adult size and child friendly furniture for the waiting room.

If you have gently used furniture that you would like to donate to the Peabody space, please call our toll free line at 866-219-3320.

Family Continuity's Mission Statement:
Supporting family success in every community by empowering people, enhancing their strengths, and creating solutions through partnerships to achieve hope, positive change and meaningful lives.

Agency Values: Family, Community, Advocacy, Leadership, and Change

Treatment Philosophy, founded on the belief that positive change is always possible:

*  The most effective treatment provides a continuity of care, acknowledging that connected, relevant supportive services to clients/client families promote recovery, stability, self advocacy and permanency in the midst of changing needs.

*  Therapeutic change occurs in the context of a dynamic treatment partnership between clients and helpers that is founded on choice, respect, honesty, and a shared responsibility for and participation in the development of solutions.

* Effective treatment is empowering and strength-based, recognizing that all clients possess resources for change and that change is possible when these resources are utilized.

* Creating meaningful lives starts with identifying goals and connecting that to individualized, flexible and creative treatment planning that incorporates a client's family/community relationships, culture, and context.
