Pointsettia Plants

Pointsettias are in the Euphorbiaceae family along with the rubber tree and similar plants.  They are over rated in toxicity.  The white sap like substance from the plant has latex in it, which is a mild irritant  that can bother the mouth or stomach of cats and dogs. It is not lethal and perfectly safe to have these plants and your pets in the home together, just use caution as with any household plant and keep them out of direct reach to lessen the chances of  diarrhea or vomitting in your pet.

If you would like more details on poisonous plants

What's The Bark In Doggie Daycare???
*Angel was laying on a blanket in a cubby and Moochek pulled it out from underneath her and better yet to top it off he dragged it outside through the doggie door!!!!

*Rocky and Madison we giving eachother little kisses and cuddling on the bridge together. We think a crush has formed!!

*It's amazing how an empty paper towel roll can entertain a whole room full of dogs! Shaunna was blowing through it and it sounded like a fog horn. All the dogs were mesmerized by the sound and it started a howl fest!!!

*Kona plays ball a little different than most dogs, he would prefer to lay down and catch the ball rather than run after it. A little unconventional? Yes, but very silly!

We would like to truly thank everyone who has donated items to help fill the gift wrapped trash barrels we have in our lobby. Each time one is filled we are bringing them down to the shelter!!!! We will continue to keep barrels in the lobby through the holiday season. Our goal is to fill ten barrels, if we fill more that would be AWESOME!!!! Thanks again

If you are interested in adopting, please keep in mind there are many animals in our own local shelter looking for forever homes. Please stop by or visit their website!

Marley Has A Home!
 Marley Husky

Marley was with us for quite some time, which makes it hard to let go, BUT we are pleased to say he has found a wonderful family who loves spending time with him. He also gained a few feline siblings as well!! Marley did come for daycare and a overnight stay
with us. It was so nice to see him and know he had a family that he was going home too.

 Congratulations

 Dick and Gail!!

 Scruffy Has A Home!!
 scruffy
Scruffy came in as a surrender, but we are pleased to say his stay here with us was very short lived. He quickly found his forever home with one of our employees and we are so excited for them both! He is now known by the name Walter. Congratulations Walter!!!!!
