Important Information From Classie Canines
Thanksgiving Dinner And Your Dog.

Thanksgiving And Your Pooch

Please be aware with Thanksgiving coming,
it may very tempting to give your pooch some of the fixings on Turkey Day. Pure white turkey meat deboned and skinned in small amounts is totally ok for a nice special treat. Even a taste of pumpkin pie and potato will be ok. You truly need to take precaution and stay away from foods containing onion, garlic or the artificial sweetener xylitol (which can lower blood suger in dogs).
Turkey bones and dogs do not mix, they splinter much like chicken bones and can preforate the intestines. Fatty dark turkey meat is very hard for a dog to digest and may cause vomiting and in extreme cases it has caused pancreatitis.
The ASPCA and Classie Canines wants everyone to have a happy and safe holiday. Noone wants to forget about their pooch when we all are enjoying our dinner, just make sure you are a responsible pet owner and look out for your dogs safety as well.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving with family, friends and your furry forlegged family members too!!!!
