What's The Buzz In Doggie Daycare
Our overnight guy was letting the dogs out to go potty when Erin C. went over and pulled her blanket out of her cubby and gave it to Bruce as if to say " Are we having a sleepover?"
At 3am Kiah and Brewster got very confused and thought it was play time and not a quick bathroom break at night- Brewster kept trying to get Kiah to play with him and then he would run away. It's good to know they love daycare so much, they would rather play than try to sleep!
Max Cote is quite the jumper! He will jump onto a crate we have and lay up there  on top of the blankets like he is king of the mountain. Very cute.
Some of our furry friends like to help us do the laundry! Marty and Reagan stole a washcloth and were playing tug of war before Tracy and Courtney could catch them.

Harmful Foods Your Dog Should to Stay Away From.
Some foods that we eat on a daily basis have been found to be very harmful to our pets or worse, even deadly.
Grapes and Raisins can cause acute kidney failure which could lead to acute renal failure and the dogs inability to pass urine. In some cases this was deadly. According to the ASPCA it only takes as few as 7 grapes can prove toxic!
Chocolate theobromine found in coco beans affects the heart muscles and nervous systems of horses, cats and dogs.
Onions are toxic to dogs. The toxicity is dose dependent, so the bigger the animal, the more onion needed to be consumed to cause a toxicity which causes Heinz body anemia.
Baby Food Who knew? In recent years baby food makers have been adding onion powder to their meat and poultry baby foods to enhance the taste. Even onion powder is toxic to dogs! So please be careful and do your research before feeding your dogs baby food.
Some other foods to watch out for are :Ham, Bacon, Avocado, Dairy Products, Egg Whites (Raw), Fruit Pips and Seeds, Cat food, Hops, Grains, Tomatoes, Fat Trimmings, Walnuts, Liver, Macadamia Nuts, Mushrooms, Yeast Dough, Salt, Nutmeg, Raw Fish, Persimmons, Table Scrap, Pennies (1980-Present) and Xylitol (diet sweetener).

Our thoughts are with her loving and compassionate owner Lucia.

Fall is quickly approaching and so are the ticks!

Summer is winding down but make sure you are still using a flea and tick preventative. Flea and ticks can still infest your pets and your home through much of the fall and winter months.
