                                           Math and Science Night
                                      Friday, March 2 5:30-8:00 PM

Please join us for a Math and Science Night on Friday, 3/2. PTSA will be offering food for sale and many hands on activities will be available for families to participate in with their child (ren). Make sure you pre-order your Boston Pizza by Thursday, 3/1. Forms are going home in backpacks today, or click here to print your own copy. Science Fair projects/boards will be on display in the classrooms. Our Sixth graders will be assisting in running some of the activities along with community members, staff  and parents. We can always use YOU! Please contact Karen Frato-Hildebrandt at kfrato@gmail.com to offer your assistance.
This is always a fun and educational evening, come and roll up your sleeves and get to work with your keiki!  

 

                                          Jump Rope for Heart   


On Valentine's Day our school participated in Jump Rope for Heart sponsored by The American Heart Association. Miss Lowe our PE teacher did a fantastic job of coordinating music and multiple stations for the students to rotate through. As a school we raised over $2000 and had tons of fun! PTSA board members were on hand to serve ice water and orange slices to the thirsty jumpers, which was greatly appreciated by all.

Thank you to everyone who participated.

                                               Scholastic Book Fair

  

Book Fair - There will be a special opening during Math and Science Night on 3/2.  There will be an estimation contest for students to enter - book fair certificates or science activities for the winners!  

The book fair will also be open daily after school until 3pm for the entire week of March 5 to March 9. Volunteers are needed to run the store.  The most important time to staff the book fair is the first half hour after school lets out.  It is crazy fun and outrageous volume of sales during this period of time!  Parents are invited to come enjoy the insanity.

 

 

                                                 Bake Sale

 

Thank you to the parents who supported the Special Teacher's Bake sale! It was a very "special" bake sale, with donated goods from many parents across all grade levels.  Parents and students showed their support in a huge way to all of your specials teachers--Art, Computer, Library, Music, and Physical Education--thank you very much!  

 

                                 

                                Military Transition Center Needs You....

 

 

Military parents please have your children meet with Mrs.Willkie on Wednesdays for 10 minutes during their lunch recess.  It's time to plan field trips, events, and lunches with special visitors. 

 

Transition Center located in the back of the Cafe..

 

Please send your children in to see me!!!
