Parent Rep needed for School Board
Nominations due by Thursday, 4/21

Lanikai Board Parent Representative Nominations are due THURSDAY, APRIL 21st!   Please consider this important position on our Board. Click here  to view/print the nomination form.

Drop off and Pick up reminders

Please review the safety information below which is pulled directly out of the Parent Handbook. Student drop off before 7:30 AM and staying on campus after 2:30 PM, or 1:30 PM on Wednesdays has become an issue. The only exceptions are if your child is enrolled in an AM or PM school sponsored  program.  Any staff member that observes early drop off will approach you and request that you stay with your child until 7:30. If you are observed picking your child up late a staff member will remind you to arrive on time for pick up the next school day and/or the office staff will call you to remind you of pick up times.

We continue to work hard to ensure the safety of all of our students. Please assist us by following these established time frames. We do not have staff in place to supervise students earlier or later than the stated times.

If you are interested in before school care please contact A+. If they have 15 students that need care in the morning they may consider adding that service at our school.

SAFETY GUIDELINE: ARRIVAL and DISMISSAL (p.15 in the Parent Handbook)

· Observe a 10 MPH speed limit on campus.

· Drivers/passengers must wear seat belts while driving/riding on campus. Children between the ages four and seven must use a child restraint seat. (Act 175, HI Session Laws, 2006)

· Do not use a cell phone while driving on campus. Staff members or JPOs may remind you.

· All students, staff, parents, and visitors must use crosswalks and follow traffic rules.

Reminder: The school is not responsible for the safety of children on campus before 7:30 or after 2:30 (1:30 on Wednesdays) unless they are enrolled in a school-sponsored after-school program.
