Jump Rope for Heart
|
Our Jump Rope for Heart event is this Friday, 3/12 at 8:30 AM. Feel free to join in the jumping fun with your child! Please remember to return your child's signed permission slip on or before Friday, 3/12 or he/she will be unable to participate. Donation packets/prize selections or printout of online donation summaries are due by Thursday 3/25. Encourage your child to solicit online donations as it is much easier for the donor, school, and American Heart Association. Click here to register online.
Please take a moment to discuss the information below with your child so they understand the reasons for jumping and contributing money to this cause. When you Jump Rope For Heart, you can help other children - children who have special hearts. Some keiki have hearts that don't exactly work right. These keiki need help from doctors and medicines to get better. And they need your help, too! The money you raise will go to the American Heart Association to help pay for new medicines and treatments yet to be discovered. This year, our school will join more than 40,000 schools nationwide as we increase awareness for heart disease and stroke in our communities and spread the word on steps that we can take to lead healthier and longer lives! You'll have fun and learn about your own heart - how it works and how to protect it! YOU + 1 jump rope = a BIG difference. Sign up to send emails to friends and family to help you save lives.
Your child must wear shoes on Friday to be able to participate in the jump rope event.
