Jump Rope for Heart
|
We will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart again this spring. Our new coordinator Lesli Yano, from American Heart Association will speak at morning assembly on Thursday, 2/11. She will get the students excited about the event and we will pass out pledge materials and some other fun and educational activities for students to discuss with their parents.
Our Jump rope day will be Friday, 3/12, as an athletic and energetic send off for spring break. Please encourage your children to get out their jump ropes and start practicing some new tricks, as there will be some contests as part of the event.
Can we get 10% of our students signed up for online donation capabilities? Click here to register for this easy, paperless process. All schools in Hawaii that get 10% of their students signed up for online fundraising will be entered to win a $100 US Games Gift Certificate. All you need to do is encourage your kids to sign up for online fund-raising and Lanikai Elementary will automatically be entered to win when we reach our goal.
