CPNG blue background2011 CPNG Leadership Meeting

Chairmen of CPNG's Education, Communications, Outreach and Advocacy Committees  (see list on left) met at a Steering Committee meeting in March, and will soon be contacting members to establish goals for the coming year and get projects underway.

In addition to an annual meeting in August, held in conjunction with the GASCO annual meeting, CPNG will be hosting an educational program on "Integrative Medicine" in early November or December at Piedmont Hospital, thanks to a grant from Thomas and Karen Chapman. (see story below)

The Leadership Team also learned about current health care legislation, took a tour of the new members-only website, and got a sneak preview of georgiacancercare.org, Georgia CORE's new website which will feature resources for cancer survivors as well as access to clinical trials and oncologists in the state.
