Greetings!
Many thanks to everyone who participated in creating a beautiful and inspiring World Brotherhood Day event. The green in front of Master's Kitchen was transformed into a Japanese Garden; Yoko and her helpers prepared a delicious Japanese meal; Hana and her friends wore authentic kumos to serve the food; Gil, Mark and Robin all spoke from their hearts about Ananda; Yoko and Rick sang a beautiful song in Japanese. Although the evening turned cold, we all bundled up in shawls, jackets and blankets, everyone gave generously from their hearts. I think Master was VERY pleased. Here are a few pictures that capture the fun of the evening. |

Kirtan Musicians | Friday, May 14, 6 - 9 pm
The sacred sounds of chants penetrate deeply into the consciousness. They have the power to transform and uplift the soul, and to open the heart. Chanting is an excellent, easy way to lift your spirits, and leave behind the stresses of everyday life.

Raghu | Saturday, May 15, 9:30 - noon, $30
Whether welcome, or painful, global or personal, change is the only constant in life. All of us face times when cherished beliefs, values, accomplishments and possessions are threatened.
Difficult decisions have to be made. A willow tree does not fear the wind because it knows how to bend. A rock has a different strength, steadfast, unmoving. Both are needed. Sometimes the lesson is to stand against the tide, sometimes to go with the flow.
Learn to understand, and have the courage to face, what God is asking of you.
This class will be taught by Raghu. |
