Christ Lives, an Oratorio
Oratorio Choir

Greetings!
On Saturday night we will host our annual Oratorio. For many of us, it is the highlight of the Easter Season - a chance to tune into the life of Christ through Nayaswami Kriyananda's magnificent music.

Last year for the first time David Eby, choir director for Ananda Worldwide, arranged the choir in a circle around the outside of the room with the audience sitting in the middle. He plans to repeat the arrangement again this year. This makes for a truly unique experience of the Oratorio here in Sacramento since no other Ananda Temple is situated in such a way to accommodate this arrangement.

The result is that the audience is surrounded by the music. It is difficult to find words to express the sensation created. It is "surround-sound" in every sense of the word and manages to lift an incredibly uplifting event to an even higher level.

We have tickets in the foyer that you can give to any friend or family member who has not attended Ananda previously.

Saturday, March 20, 7 pm
Suggested admission donation is $10 per person

Lotus BlossomHow to Be a Good Leader
This week's Create Material Success through Yoga Principles class will focus on Lesson 10 -
How to Be a Good Leader

In Lesson 10, Nayaswami Kriyananda writes:

"In every group enterprise, people will naturally seek advice from those who are competent, in preference to those even who hold leadership positions. Thus, this lesson on leadership is meant to help everyone, and not only people in positions of actual authority."

"Yata dharma, tata jaya - Where there is adherence to right principle, there is victory.

To do what is right, ethically and spiritually as well as pragmatically, wins the support of universal law."
