Linx Consulting Announces Dissolution of Linx-AEI

Linx Continues Analysis of PV Market

Linx Consulting has announced that Linx-AEI Consulting, a joint venture between Linx and Alternative Energy Investing, LLC, has been dissolved. Both parties have decided to pursue separate interests. Although we are proud of the work we did with AEI, we have decided to offer our services independently.

We look forward to continuing our analysis of the PV market, especially the chemicals and materials used in PV. PV is still an important part of Linx's overall portfolio as many processes and materials sets overlap across multiple segments in the electronics industry. Our broad-based experience in electronic chemicals and materials and advanced thin film processing gives us a unique perspective of the PV space.

What does this mean for our clients?

We will continue working in the PV space as well as other areas of thin film processing technology, including semiconductors, flat panel displays, HBLEDs, and advanced electrochemical technologies.

Linx Consulting will continue to offer a broad range of services including:

  • Chemicals and Materials for Solar Cells and Modules
  • IP Analysis
  • Continued insights on PV Market Performance and Evolution
  • Perspectives on the evolving mix of different cell technologies.
  • Single client consulting services:
    • Market assessments
    • Process technology assessment
    • Strategic planning
    • M&A

Unparalleled Integrity and Service

Our clients can expect the same high levels of support and service they have grown accustomed to from Linx Consulting. Linx research methodology and broad-based industry knowledge combine to give us unique insights. Insights we share with our clients to help them succeed in managing their businesses on a global basis, clearly communicating complex concepts, points of evolution and opportunities.

Photovoltaics Play an Increasing Role in Electronic Chemicals Market

Driven by strong growth across multiple segments, the global markets for electronic chemicals and materials will surpass $100 billion in 2011. PV is continuing to exhibit high growth rates in this area, despite continued downward pricing pressures for many materials.

Even though PV is the most recent major segment of electronics, it has the highest materials intensity, according to Linx Research.
