GMS Math Day at the Zoo

Grandview Middle School took approximately 550 students, teachers, and parents to Math Day at the Minnesota Zoo on Tuesday, November 8. Math Day at the Zoo is one of several cross-curriculum days designed to showcase how the Minnesota Zoo is a great learning environment for multiple areas of study. Math Day inspires students in grades 3-12 to learn more about how math is applied in the zoo workplace and to the world beyond, where animals live in their natural habitats.
